I assumed the crash is caused by ALL the ships (including trade routes) moving at a max speed, that's why I asked about the single ship option but if it's not worth the hassle or the root cause of the crash is found, it shouldn't be necessary really. Again, thanks for your hard work!

Edit: The crash occurs when the speed cheat is enabled and WHEN you upgrade a building from the blueprint mode.

Could you send me a savegame where I can just upgrade from the blueprint? Would help me a lot.

I did further testing and found the culprit: Fire Stations. Don't know why, don't know how, sometimes it crashes while upgrading from a blueprint, sometimes it crashes while building without blueprint. But it's 99% Fire Stations.

Could be the Spice it Up mod as well though, the only thing I am sure is that this did not happen before the Tourists update. So it's either the mods, or the trainer.

I can not confirm that the game crashes. I'm using the speed cheat aswell. I did some tests with building a firestation and upgrading from a blueprint. The game does not crash. I don't use mods.
